My Son, My Life
You are the poem that I write
You are the masterpiece that I painted
You are my joy, my pain and my laughter
You are the sunshine that spread across my sky
And you are the shooting stars and
starry diamonds that blends and
sparkles within me
You are the masterpiece that I painted
You are my joy, my pain and my laughter
You are the sunshine that spread across my sky
And you are the shooting stars and
starry diamonds that blends and
sparkles within me
For you, I have encountered many
hurdles in life and jumped them through
As the thought of you my son keeps me
going through the joys and pain of being
your mother, as I see you progress on
in this thing they call, your life
Onward you go my son, to reach that
journey of yours, conquering the things
that I haven't been able to do,
as I watch you from afar and
guiding you through, though at times
you gets frustrated and don't need
my help and back I stand, as I watch
you at times, fumbles through.
This jewel of mine, keeps plunging through
without a father, since he was two, and
he grabs and kissed me and tells me mom,
don't worry, as there is us, us two,
and off he goes without a tarry.
This son of mine lights up my life like
the diamonds in the sky on a starry nite
And as I write these words, I dedicate them
to you, my son, my life, for you my child,
is the masterpiece that I created in this thing,
they call, my life
hurdles in life and jumped them through
As the thought of you my son keeps me
going through the joys and pain of being
your mother, as I see you progress on
in this thing they call, your life
Onward you go my son, to reach that
journey of yours, conquering the things
that I haven't been able to do,
as I watch you from afar and
guiding you through, though at times
you gets frustrated and don't need
my help and back I stand, as I watch
you at times, fumbles through.
