    My mistake

Many Nights I stood in the rain, blowing green
To cleanse my brain of you
    Just trying to forget
    Or remember we didn't fit
But you were HOME to me
Now I'm tired of roaming B.
But my home not how I left it
    Erased and replaced,
she's missing with out a trace
    Except in his daughter's face
Now she torn between love and hate
But she sealed her own fate
    Leaving was a mistake
    Is it too late?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
