My Fading Soul…..

The moon is full tonight, it’s beautiful.
It shines like your incredible smile.
I couldn’t take my eyes off it earlier, like when I gaze upon you.
My heart & soul shimmer in your brightness.
When you rise it pulls my heart like the tides, swept along in your glory.
I am tied to you in so many ways.
But its light is fading; the glow is turning to a flicker.
My heart is dying, growing cold; my soul slowly fades into the shadows.
I am calling out to you, (please don’t abandon me) from deep inside your heart. Don’t let this light fade from your heavens, your mind, my soul, my heart you keep within.
I desperately reach for warmth, your strength, your love, our friendship, its there; I still feel its beams strong on my face.
