My Dog Buffy
She is white and fluffy, my dog Buffy
Her eyes are bright her fur is scruffy
She tickles my nose before I wake
And if it thunders she begins to shake
She stares intently at the tellie
And falls asleep when I rub her belly
She gives loving kisses and hugs
Then has small accidents on rugs
She loves chicken and lamb
And to know right where I am
Her eyes are like buttons but she does not like bows
Where ever she wanders her ball goes
She sleeps on a pillow upon my a bed
When I speak she knows just what I said
She runs in circles and growls at me
When I play with her on my hands and knees
She barks at the fifty-five pound dog next door
Then runs like hell back through the door
She studies her reflection in the pool
And thinks pupperoni treats are cool
She got sick once and I almost lost her
But she pulled through thanks to Dr. Foster
I swear this dog has been here before
My dog Buffy, who I adore
Her eyes are bright her fur is scruffy
She tickles my nose before I wake
And if it thunders she begins to shake
She stares intently at the tellie
And falls asleep when I rub her belly
She gives loving kisses and hugs
Then has small accidents on rugs
She loves chicken and lamb
And to know right where I am
Her eyes are like buttons but she does not like bows
Where ever she wanders her ball goes
She sleeps on a pillow upon my a bed
When I speak she knows just what I said
She runs in circles and growls at me
When I play with her on my hands and knees
She barks at the fifty-five pound dog next door
Then runs like hell back through the door
She studies her reflection in the pool
And thinks pupperoni treats are cool
She got sick once and I almost lost her
But she pulled through thanks to Dr. Foster
I swear this dog has been here before
