    Must More be Said?

    I smoke to forget you
    I drink to forget you
    But you're forever there
Burnt into my soul as the love I can never have
Forever wanting but never able to hold
    All I want is you
All I want is your voice in my head
    Your smile on my mind
    Your love returned
But you say you want him
And i'll respect that but I cant let you go
I'm so full of you i'm blinded to all else
I can't breath unless you are there to help me
I can't eat unless you make it
I can't love anyone but you
And you love him so I get to sit here
And watch as he treats you like dirt
And know I can give you the world you envy
    The one you want
    The one you need
But you need to tell me that you feel the same
Till you do I will waste away to nothing
    And die a lonely death
    Your all I want
    Your all I need
Your all I can never have and yet I love you
    Must more be said?

This is alot to digest! I don't know if I've ever felt so deeply for another and if I did, thank God I don't remember. I like the honesty behind your words and feelings. If I did love this way I dont know if my pride would let me admit it but after reading this maybe I should bury the pride and just be completely open and honest. Good job Diddy.

you should never let pride get in the way of love. love is one of the moste simple and rewarding emotions. love is the one thing you can always rely on no matter how old or where you are, you will always find love. my advice is embrace it because the one thing that will always live on is the memories you have with the people you love. thanks for the feedback. :)

    Loving in vain-sad poem.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
