    More Needless Tears

How dare you invite me into your life?! The life that you destroy, and wish for me to come down and fall into the pits of hell with you. You expect me to sit by and watch me, watch you, crumble into nothing. I can no longer hold you close and wish you well. Not after I have seen the effects of what it has done to you, and what you have done to me from the effects of it. I am no longer cold, I have become an unpeaceful kind of numb. You place a kiss on my frozen burred lips. These lips are too cold to feel your warmth. You rub my shoulders as if you were trying desperately to rub away the annoyance of tension that lies within them. What about my ears and my heart that need to hear from you? That you will personally put an end to this?! They have waited in such a stubborn patience for you to change your Frankenstein ways. However you just stand there with a stupid pointless grin believing I'll never leave. However my skin has become numb to your touch, frost bite has made its way over my lips from your kiss, and my ears are deaf to your words, and finally my heart can no longer wait for you. It has come close to a complete stop. If you beg for my neediness than let go now. Something has taken control of your evilness, your life, your dreams, and now your love.

Everyone has their own style, and this is a unique one to read. For me this is just not very poetic. It is prose done well, but without meter, or formating, a rhyme pattern or even a poetic pacing I just can't call it a poem. it is good for a piece of prose though. Michelle

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
