In search of answers

So I guess its just me and you kid. We haven't been alone in a long time so tell me the problems that settled themselves into your mind. Staying up late with restless amounts of sleep. What are you avoiding? What your are you hiding? Afraid of being left alone in this deserted world. Searching desperately for that person to look deep inside you and hold your soul in the palm of their hand. Yet is that really what you want?  I seem to disagree. Look inside yourself to find the answers, but you won't give yourself the chance. If you can't trust yourself who can you trust, certainly not anyone else. Your vomitting up the sickness, fearing for anyone to touch. You're scared shitless kid. What have you let this desecrate place of a world done to you. Stop questioning and simply just move foward. You keep repeating that statement in your head Yet you fall into these heart breaks that you cannot tolerate. How much more are you going to give until there's nothing left except these lies that have been fed. You're so much better than this is what you have been hearing your entire life, but still you remain the same old fucking same. Brush this little bit of dirt off before you have dug yourself a grave.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
