    Missing Medicine

All alone on a darkened road

    Bloody hands of murder

    Haunted by my malicious deed

Thorns of regret pick at my rotten skin

Two versions of me tear at each other

    Tearing my world apart

    The fire rages within me

    Illusions rule my mind

    Torturing my soul, ripping it

My life is a black abyss

    Blinding my red eyes

I can only see the bad

The good is all but present

    I fall, paralyzed

    Looking for a medicine

But it has faded unto another

I cry, drowning in the river

    Wishing for my medicine

    Craving what I cannot have

    I need my medicine

    Please come back to me...

    i love it

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
