    Childrens Power

    Let Us Go

    Come---let us go hurriedly

    across the green lawn

    and carry hands full

    of the blades---

    We can float them---

    Ships---on the stream

    until they tumble

    between rocks----

    Let's watch the

    ducks and listen

    to the Crow---she

    nested---briefly

    in a high perch---

    Casts for every

    ear---lamentations

    to the air----

More than capturing nature, you captured the nature of children, who are born the world's greatest actors, and lose that magic as they grow into a world that squelches their power to imagine.

You captured nature for sure, intending for people to take time to visit/cherish nature, :) tyWS

I remember similar days like this poem describes in rural area of Ga where I grew up. Thanks for sharing your great talent and bringing back some sunny memories.

I am happy to know that my little poem was able to bring remembrance of your younger time in Georgia. While I am Italian, I was born in Georgia, US and was there only for 2 weeks while my Mother recovered from my unexpected birth. I've only returned once and I discovered it is a beautiful region of the US.

Paolo// what a grand poem. Innocence and reality. I'm overwhelmed. Take a look at these lines: (to the Crow---she's/ nested---briefly) or maybe (to the Crow---she/ nests---briefly). A fabulous poem// a poet friend// RH Peat
