    JUDGEING ME

    The anger boils deep within
    Blood burning through my veins
    Why must you judge me
    You don't have that right

    Only God can judge me
    It's His opinion that counts
    He knows who I am
    You're no better than me

    Just give me a chance
    That's all that I ask
    Why can't you be fair
    I am not judging you

    You've hated me all along
    Since before you met me
    Try getting to know me
    Maybe then you'll like me

    At least show me respect
    You owe me that much
    I'm not a bad person
    I guess soon you'll see

    Please just open your eyes
    We're not all the same
    I have been hurt too
    You are not alone there

    He who judges gets judged
    Do you really want that

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
