    In Too Deep

For some reason I can't seem to get you out of my head.
Visions of you fail to disappear from my mind.
You're trapped in my senses like a lab rat in a glass cage
All escapes are visible but there are no exits.
    I find myself stealing moments
I steal moments to gaze upon your God like body
I steal moments to cherish your remarkable smile
I relive kisses that we have shared
I retrace the fingerprints that have been imprinted on my flesh.
All I do all these things not out of free will
But what seems like from a force of nature that pulls me towards you.
    Though these feelings are forbidden
    They are still present
I try to gasp for air
    But I find myself falling....
    Deeper....

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
