Ignored
I walk in
As you walk out
I walk by
And you look away
You never wanna talk
But I still try
When I get close
You move away
Then I catch you
Looking straight at me
And I suddenly see
You’re just as scared
And I make my way to get to you
But by the time I get there
You’re already gone
I just want a chance
To fix our friendship
And make everything right again
But I can’t
Because you wont let me
When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
