    I Alone the Beggar

My losses I mourned, your reason I pondered
Through mist and cloud, alone I have wandered
Taken from me friend, I ask of you why
Broken and fallen, upon knees I do cry

She is the kill, both death and decay
Yet she is the love, I would not betray
She is the kill, to touch so cold
Yet it is this sorrow I long so to hold

I look out the window, snow falls adrift
Words try to form upon pursed lips
Alas I'm alone more often than not
Madness my set, alone my plot

    At me look closely
See me for the beggar I've become
