Hip Hop Poem
In my sight I see tonight the future of my dream,
It flew down upon my hometown in a star lit silver stream,
creped into my head, my heart and soul, became possessed,
A cold chill spread from my mind and shot out through my flesh,
hands began to shake, the quake could break the earth in two,
the tremble made a beat,
the beat was one I never knew,
I paced and raced around my place in search of pen pad,
looked around until I found the only one I had,
And as my hand was shaking the chills were spreading, far from the
abnormal norm,
the pen hit the pad in such a way that words would form,
and in these words I began to regain my conscious mind,
spread across the page were suttle thoughts composed in complex
rhyme,
The mos def lyricist lounged in common sense, driven to bust rhymes
an write lines, proving skills evidence, supernatural style and black
thought came over me, immortal techniques proved why tonight I run
DMC,
Backed up for a second wipe my irritating itching eye,
there was something in it dogg I swear I never cry,
Like doves in love when flying through purple rain,
I stepped back up to my pad and started to write again,
Of an outcast who would Cee Lo with rhymes more colorful than an
eminem,
step on a stage against any man and always rakim,
Be like Naz son who you think you is 2 Pac or biggie
phareal my skill will cause a fiasco and rockafella quickly,
a college dropout going through d tox spilling blood for the game,
determined to get rich or die tryin just so you remember his name,
Pain then came over me in my sleeping sanctuary,
the thought of written battles fought leading to obituary,
Not me no I choose a different rout,
The wolf in sheep's clothing who's truth was figured out,
The beast who chose to stay the beast amongst fame and fortunes
beautiful eye,
remain the man who only watched cribs and wished x would pimp his
ride
while I rhyme of ancient times and what dream I have found,
I elevate the mind of mine and many underground,
destined and determined to be the ancient mind of now
