Have You Ever Had A Dream Come True?
Have you ever had a dream come true?
Well, I have, never dreaming I could, never dreaming I would; use those most precious words people voice so simply; called love, passion, and commitment.
Two marriages in my past; however, one husband was a loser and the other a boozer. I got exactly what I wanted, looking on the outside for a man to love, instead of looking on the inside of what he was made up of.
How many times does a person have to fall,
seeking help from God, just to rise up, and not know God heard the call?
Always praying for that special man God would send, never any patience, I knew better or so I always thought, I would find that man that would never leave me, not knowing I was always the one that was first to abandon.
So here is how it all went down, having Starbucks coffee in a different town. Some man joined me and I never felt so dirty, he was looking at me like a piece of spoiled meat.
I made up a quick excuse, going down 8 mile road like a maniac on the loose.
I was crying and screaming at God, I surrendered; if He wanted me single than single I would be. I am a bargain maker and I had one for the Great Almighty you see!
I said, “God, if you want me with a soul mate than bring him to my garage door with all my stuff on the floor,” hah, you see, I always have to have the last word, even with the Lord.
Have you ever had a dream come true? Well, I have, he came to my garage door with all my stuff on the floor.
Gino said, “I’ll help you move your stuff and oh by the way, “God said He called your bluff.”
I stood there and trembled, never believing someone would love me with passion and commitment. I began to watch for his winking Sicilian eye that melted my heart from the very start!
