    Hard Times

Can't get a job , to get any money
Can't get a man, to call me honey
    Because it's hard, hard times.

Tomorrow is the first of the month
The landlord will be here on the hunt
Because it's hard , hard times.

    The candles are fading fast
    The darknest alone will last
    Because it's hard, hard times.

The struggle , however will past
And one morning we will wake up at last.
