Guilty
It’s only our fault the
The world turns gray and
The end is near;
That evil is release and
There’s nowhere to run.
It’s our fault that we
Lament over the dead;
It’s our fault that
We’re falling out of
Place, and our hearts
Not in one shape;
That a child can’t put a
Smile on his face
Without seeing
Others in disgrace.
It’s our fault that
We let our tongue
Take over our mind;
To say words that
Has no meaning,
Just to be known
To the world.
It’s our fault that
We turn to see what evil brings.
It’s our fault that
We can’t see through
The world as it
Does us.
And as our soul
Is trying to show
Us the truth;
We are numb to
It because our faults
Have stolen us.
The world turns gray and
The end is near;
That evil is release and
There’s nowhere to run.
It’s our fault that we
Lament over the dead;
It’s our fault that
We’re falling out of
Place, and our hearts
Not in one shape;
That a child can’t put a
Smile on his face
Without seeing
Others in disgrace.
It’s our fault that
We let our tongue
Take over our mind;
To say words that
Has no meaning,
Just to be known
To the world.
It’s our fault that
We turn to see what evil brings.
It’s our fault that
We can’t see through
The world as it
Does us.
And as our soul
Is trying to show
Us the truth;
We are numb to
It because our faults
Have stolen us.
