    Calamity

The touch of the hand is too deadly,
For only the true love can hold the key of the mind.
His lips of blood is sooth and impious,
And now my love is in the grasps of the world.
Because of the love I never knew, he holds me forever.
So I stand in the world of the unknown with a heart of calamity.
And no love came my way and darkness filled the air.
My tears hit the ground and the earth shivered from my words.
For he knew that my love is forsaken to the one who’s heart is shattered.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
