  • How can you mend a broken heart if its been broken?

Fear and Darkness

Everyday we heard watched and read news about crimes around the world
Killing people,abducting innocents,war,fighting for nothing,misunderstanding
Anywhere is not safe anymore, you can't trust no one at all
Afraid,hate,anger,sad,lonely,jealous,envy of each other.

No more love,peace,loyalty and respect
No one listens and follow the rules
People just like to be seen and heard by making a mistakes
Thinking they will get the worlds attention.

When disparate, I wanna die or kill
When sad and lonely, prospect for suicide bombing
No one think the right way anymore but violence and revenge
And blamed others of being a failure.

Our heroes goes to a war without a choice
Leaving their families with tears and pain
But no one feel it, we need to win and proclaim a victory
Even it will kill people, damage the economy and forget all.

One gun can kill more than five people a day
But still selling guns is legall where ever you want it to use
Teaching kids how to fight when they get bullied
But never teach them how to be strong and fight in better way.

Afraid to fail? Or you just have this darkness who lives inside you
Learn to love and forgive yourself to do the same thing to others
Think many times before you speak or do
And most of all, stand up,you are not weak and nothing to be afraid of.

another poem with words of wisdom. I like your writings, you have put much thought into what you are trying to project. There is way to much violence in this world. Overcome evil with love, honor and respect

yea, I wish I am native so I can write more.and thank you man.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
