    Fallen

Ashamed am I for what I’ve done
    I’ve tainted it, soiled it
How am I to explain such tragedy?
The loss of all purity of body and mind

To return to oneself is improbable
A task so enormous in size
With a feeling of gut-wrenching desperation
To find my only chance for redemption

Aye me, what is to be done about this?
    Despair looming, opportunity for change
Non existent in this world of uncertainty
I am spent and have lost hope of recovery

World catch me I am falling
Away from all sense of reason and clarity
Clouded is the mind as I descend
Too weak to retaliate, I have fallen!

Deep, dark sense of a broken inner heart. Stumble, strive like many other than you and I, but just like you I feel the crushing pain as the friction of no redemption time is only seconds away from destroying my mind... Long long story, but I see and feel the tragedy of your fall. FreeBird 02

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
