    Enigma

    The pain sinks in
    And you fail to see
    Your life going under
    And time slipping by
The should've's and could've's far behind you
No more tears left to cry
    Yet you still smile
    And I'll forever ask why
    I just don't get it
    Probably never will
Maybe its ignorance that makes you beautiful
    Perhaps it's your will
But what can be said of you
Which no one can or will deny
Is what uplifts all before you
And leaves its wake far behind
Is the reason I'll forever love you
Yet I'll never truly understand why
    Without question
    Mom

    very nice

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
