Dust To Dust

Together, one with the Universe

Constant, willing to converse

Until life captures our spirit

Slowly caging, unable to adherd it

Every breath tightening the bind

Losing touch by becoming a mind

Life, taking it's toll, creating a tomb

Coming out from a mother's womb

The pain and torture of feeling

Sounds and light so unveiling

A gift formulating a new time and place

Becoming a man, no more spirit in space

Personality takes over along with a soul

Something we are until we grow old

Life doesn't last, cause death plays a part

As time draws near we begin to loose heart

The body grows old, the soul becomes weak

Spirit takes over, a new life it must seek

Aged and beaten is grasped real well around rhyme.

Thanks. We come and we go but who we were will never die

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
