Death
Death
We all must face this end
It cares not for your stature or knowledge
You can be tall or short
You can be smart or dumb
It cares not of your age; young or old
Whether still in the womb
Or at one hundred and two
It doesn't see your riches or your poverty
Not your Mercedes Benz
Not your middle class home
Not your scraping just to make it through a day
It doesn't see your love or hate
Not your first love
Not the bane of your existence
It doesn't see your emotions especially not your tears
It doesn't see you cry for your loved one
It doesn't see your frustration at not understanding
It does not see your family
It doesn't see parent's pride
Doesn't see their deep love of you before you were born
It does not see your friends
You best friend's heart breaking
Your friend's tears of denial
It doesn't see your plans
For college education
For success in the superficial
It doesn't see your will
To live your life
To be all you could
It knows your end time
And it doesn't care about anything otherwise.
We all must face this end
It cares not for your stature or knowledge
You can be tall or short
You can be smart or dumb
It cares not of your age; young or old
Whether still in the womb
Or at one hundred and two
It doesn't see your riches or your poverty
Not your Mercedes Benz
Not your middle class home
Not your scraping just to make it through a day
It doesn't see your love or hate
Not your first love
Not the bane of your existence
It doesn't see your emotions especially not your tears
It doesn't see you cry for your loved one
It doesn't see your frustration at not understanding
It does not see your family
It doesn't see parent's pride
Doesn't see their deep love of you before you were born
It does not see your friends
You best friend's heart breaking
Your friend's tears of denial
It doesn't see your plans
For college education
For success in the superficial
It doesn't see your will
To live your life
To be all you could
It knows your end time
And it doesn't care about anything otherwise.
