Cynical Soul

Rise and Shine

Lost soul buried deep beneath the depths of six
Called upon by a whisper from love that wants to co-exist.

And with the words being heard…

Its numb senses awakened … but very briefly

As memories of lost love would not let it be.

Lost soul grew cold as the tides no longer

Brought the rose scented breeze that once fed its hunger

Stranded in time where love couldn’t last

Haunted by the pain of a heart from its past.

Left it timid and pessimistic, because love did not teach its lesson

True love was not manifested, which left its soul restless

A gift that’s so precious now stands a wall that can not be destructed.

Soul let me resurrect it

To remain lament is what the soul requested.

Rise and Shine

Lost soul buried deep beneath the depths of six
Called upon by a whisper from love that wants to co-exist.

Intricate listless soul in a place where time moves slow

Where nothing plays a role, where the silence overflows

Where desolation breeds and grows.

Rise and Shine

Lost soul buried deep beneath the depths of six
Called upon by a whisper from love that wants to co-exist.

Breathe in this warm feeling into your paralyzed soul

This demarche is for healing and letting the hurt go

With promises of a new day and a blessed sacred love

Meticulously designed from the Heavens above.

Rise and Shine

Lost soul buried deep beneath the depths of six
Called upon by a whisper from love that wants to co-exist.

Thank you, I really appreciate the fact you like my style, comments like this inspire me to continue to write.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
