    Counting days

    Counting days
Until the next time I see you
    Counting ways
    To justify what I do
    Counting flaws
Cause this seems to good to be true
    Counting Lies
For each breathe that I take
    Counting nights
    thinking of you lying awake
    Counting Fights
Cause Karma comes correct, or so they say
    Counting tears
That fall for the struggle I bear
    Counting Fears
Cause my life aint easy this I swear
    Counting You
As my muse, things have now become clear
    So until then
    I am counting days
and I will hang on and suffer well my dear.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
