Consider Me
When you rush my sons and daughters off to WarKnowing they have been deployed three-times before,
Consider Me!
When my property taxes increase but the economy is down
And the stock market investments are barely off the ground-
Consider Me!
When you don't tap the Oil reserves, and gas prices are high,
When my family walks the streets...then a drunk driver passes by,
Consider Me!
When politically correct laws are regime but talk of morality
In laws concerning marriage and life, is unconstitutional, it seems,
Consider Me!
Consider well How many Americans are at your door!
Consider well What you will pass when the Bill is on the floor...
Consider well- not the votes for re-election-but what is truly right,
You consider well, how many people, will lose sleep at night over
A political system that has far too many flaws,
I would give anything for a President, who would actually think a minute,
Pause, Reflect on every decision, He makes.
How many Americans share my same plea?
Congress, House of Reps, Mr. President- Consider Me!
