Confused much
Hiding from everywhere
Questioning the very air
Paint slides off your smiling face
Turning into a basket case
Running from reality
Questioning formality
Trying on the worst of life
Camping out the worst of strife
Wiping tears back from your face
Wind blows my hair out of place
Hiding in the rims of glasses
Running from the common masses
The owl’s flight brings news of fright
Suicide dreams in the dead of night
Light bulbs casting out dark matter
Going as mad as a hatter
Space fills all that’s absent
Did you get that cab I sent?
Water drenches all that quenches
The rich sleeping on park benches
Not a antagonistic just a coward
Drinking juice of the solar powered
What’s filtered through those sunglasses?
The light is too, avoiding the masses
Awkward words come shooting out
Believe me no need to shout
Just let me be
Who I am
Let me be
While I am
Where I am
Why I am
Just help me find me
I need the right equipment to see
The hermits are social networking
All the blokes are sitting smirking
Fingertips burn like cigarettes
Passing steaks on to the pests
Silly being a mover and a shaker
Now it’s time to meet you maker
A palindrome for a heading
But now it seems the sun is setting
