Blurry Scenes
I see the blurry scenery as we pass by.As we pass through towns we've never been to.
The music blasting in our ears.
Feeling the fresh air in our hair.
We see all the old houses, some still standing,
And some collapsed under the weight of its years.
We wonder if leaving now will give a head start to the future.
We leave behind all we've ever known,
Just to find something better and maybe a little simpler.
I see the trees standing so tall with their branches stretching as if to be reaching for the sky.
As we pass all the blurry scenes,
I wonder if we'll ever reach our destination.
The destination our hands and hearts are reaching out for.
These are the blurry scenes of the future I want.
