Better Days
I woke up this morning and I realized
People read my life and how much I've cried
I decided to somehow find a way
To tell people I have better days
I have wonderful neices and nephews galore
We're not finished we're having some more
I had a musical Dad that could do magic tricks
A Mom that can cook up some biscuts real quick
I have children that worship the ground I walk on
Grandbabies that call just to sing me a song
It's not hard to find words to say
I had it rough but I've had better days
I have a yorkie that sits on my lap
A big brother that lives to give me crap
A little sister that counts on me
To pick up the boys they'll be ready at three
Mom and I drink coffee outside
We make fun of the mailman coming up in his ride
Lifetime friends call almost every day
To let us know their heading our way
My cousin calls me every single night
She won't go to sleep till she knows I'm alright
So yea alot of times I cried
But you see how I made it with this family by my side
