Beaten

At times we aren't sure where tomorrow will lead us
Wondering if tomorrow will be better than today or better than yesterday.
Not really knowing which corner to turn to find the straight road that leads us to happiness.

The one little bump in that straight road we chose sometimes seems to multiple into tiny little fragments of negative energy that only the inhuman would seem to enjoy. Feeding off of one’s positive energy draining their mental ability to stand strong and fight against the darkness of unhappiness.

Cruelty seems to be set into motion after realizing that one’s positive energy is a lot greater than those with negative energy. The tiny little fragments seem to multiply into even more fragments hoping to stand and take fight against the positivity of one’s soul.

The soul which stands strong and proud takes control and fights back realizing that their mental ability was there all along but was afraid to defend one’s self not knowing the cruelty of one’s nature. With the confidence of one’s soul the tiny little fragments seem to piece itself back together into that little bump in the road.

Being beaten at their own little game, the energy seems to refine itself from the impurities it once fed upon. Realizing that even though little bumps are hit in the roads we seem to travel, one’s mental ability is much more stronger and greater than the tiny little fragments of negativity and the soul is more powerful.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
