Another Life

Another Life

Reincarnate as a songbird
be part of a flock
eat
    seed
           and sing
RUN OUT OF HABITAT

Live once again as Great Northern Moose
walk along nature's trails
pose
        for
            people
USING CAMERAS NOT GUNS

Come back as a Rainbow Trout
swim wild rivers
species
           invade
                    waterways
MERCURY AND ACID RAIN

Return as a Snowshoe Hare
brown when it is green
white when bushes are bare

Life anew as a White Pine
Evergreen spire majestic
Cut down
     in
        numbers
A RENEWABLE RESOURCE

Earthy ... What a deep reflection you have penned here. An impressive write indeed. I love the format as well. Great job! :) Ken

Even though I'm an Honorable Apache and Navajo, they know and understand I don't believe in all American I ndian beliefs like reincarnation as an Aunt of mine does. I loved this an I used to hunt for food. I ate the heart first after giving thanks to the animal for giving it's life so I could live and Great Spirit God for putting it on Earth for food. A wonderful meaningful write,to be appreciated. Sam.

I don't know if I am ever coming back after this life, but if I do I hope it is into a better world-thanks so much for the comment Sam...Earthly

You will as God has prepared a new Earth. Our eternal Earth of beauty and filled with love. Be assured of that. I know this as fact. Peace from the Dove above,,,Sam

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
