Already Taken
I don’t wantAnother ex-boyfriend;
I don’t want
Another ex-friend.
I don’t want a guy
who’s not going to treat me right.
I don’t want a guy who’s gonna
lie to his friends about me.
I don’t want a guy who only cares
for my body.
I don’t want a guy like you.
And I don’t want a guy like him.
I want my knight in shining armor.
I want what I was promised.
I want a guy who’s going to love me.
I want a guy that’s not going to hurt me.
I want a guy who I can cuddle up with.
I want a guy who’s not just with me for my body.
I want a guy that doesn’t just want sex.
I want a guy who makes me laugh.
I want a guy who I can talk to.
I want a guy that can save me.
I want a guy that’ll hold me like a precious stone.
I want you.
And I want that guy, too.
I don’t want a guy that’s going to flirt with my friends.
I don’t want a guy that’s not going to talk to me.
I don’t want a guy that stares at other girls.
I don’t want a guy that likes my mom.
I don’t want a guy that thinks I’m hott.
I don’t want a guy that kisses evem BEFORE the first date.
I don’t want a guy that’s going to laugh when I’m feeling down.
I don’t want a guy that’s never going to come around.
I don’t want a guy like you.
And I don’t want a guy like him.
I want a guy that thinks I’m beautiful.
I want a guy that thinks I’m smart.
I want a guy that IS smart.
I want a good looking guy.
I want a guy I can bring home to mom and dad.
And they would approve.
I want a guy like him
I want a guy like you.
But when I told my friend all this,
She just laughed and tol me to face the bitter truth.
That a guy like that is perfect,
and he’s got a boyfriend, too.
