    “The Audience of One”

    “The Audience of One”
    By
    Jack R. Dowdy

    Everyone has many masks,
And all the world’s a stage.
The play is how you live your life,
    The masks, how you engage.

    Those who watch are numerous,
    But with every rising sun,
Before the Lord, cast down your masks,
    For the audience of one.

Yes what an amazing poem, We have all to come before the Creator one minus our masks. I love it.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
