    A Kiss From Above

Fifty years of marriage, she is now alone
Her memories of him, still fill her home,
For many years, he showered her with love
Now he sends her, a kiss from above.

Five children, for this husband and wife
He made sure, she had a wonderful life,
    He worked hard, everyday
Coming home tired, with the kids he would play.

As she goes to bed at night
She dreams of him, holding her tight,
As she stares off, into space
She can see, his loving face.

Lots of laughter, lots of tears
    Many hugs, throughout the years,
Her heart, is so full of his love
He sends her, a kiss from above.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
