    you lied

    You lied
    You said you cared
You even said you would always be there
Instead you left me in the cold
    With the rain
    No company to be found
    Except tears of pain
    I cried many nights
    Calling out for you
    But you never came back
    To see me through
Now I know though that others there
    They hold me close
    And they really care
They also know what is right
And that is to cherish a baby’s life
you werent meant to be a mother
i love you for giving me life
i hate you more for causing it almost nothing but strife

    some sad

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
