    WORDS

I sit here contemplating what to write on this blank page.

The words elude me as If I'm staring at air.

Words penned in my head but not on paper .

If I could release myself and tell you of all my inner being

What I like, what I don't like, how I feel, just open up.

I'm quiet inside, but the written word has so much to say.

I can be a hero, a poet, an author, a lover, a friend.

Words can make me whatever I want, if I chose to do so.

I can laugh on paper, I can cry, and you would be able to see it.

Manipulate anyone to whatever I want you to do or think.

See words are powerful because you may not know who is the author.

They can destroy a life; they can up build one, or shatter your dreams.

If I speak them, they have no validation without written proof.

Laws have been Iron clad and not broken due to the written word.

Powerful but meaningless to some, words aren't respected at times.

I can move mountains with words, and make the world a better place.

Inspire others, inspire me, and light a candle under my feet.

But If I can't write one word on this blank page, my movement can't start.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
