BLACK FLAG
BLACK FLAGBlack Flag
I wear it proud
The color of my hair
Definition of who I am
It bubbles inside of me
The wonderful me
When I wear my textured locks
Black Flag
When I cover my plump lips with gloss
Black Flag
I am what I am
Ashamed of nothing
The width of my nose
My eyes are where they should be
No one can carry my Flag but me
I may be colored, nigress or black to you
Your stupidity
I don't live on th past of slavery
But I know where I'm from
We can only move forward
When-
My brothers and sisters will do their part
To carry the Black Flag from the heart
Blacks hating on Blacks
Robbing, killing, bulleying
Putting each other down
Abuse and neglect
Calling each other hateful names
Their ashamed!
-Of who they are
Trying to fill the mold of others
Yeah the white man
I said it
I mean it
Don't regret it
Now don't get me wrong
I'm not prejudice
Many are my friends
They know me
Gold loves all men
And I do too
But right is right
And wrong is wrong
You know that's true
Black flag
Don't fear no one
Don't be afraid to be you
Just be yourself
Learn to live with one another
Black people be strong
I carry mine every day
My Black Flag is here to stay
