Why would you?

Poem Commentary

This is a poem about my first boyfriend we broke up a few months ago here i am still cring yet he moved on like it was nothing. I let him to my heart and he broke it.

Why would you?

Why can i not love back?
I gave you the Keys to my heart.
And you twisted it backwards in my heart.
I learned to love again.
To trust again.
Here you go breaking my heart.
And Trust.
And it was only a dare!
Oh, go out with the outcast!
They said.
Why would you do that.
Tears slip down my cheeks.
Love hurts.
I thought you cared.
How could you?
You knew i cared about something for once.
And you break it.
I hope you feel good.
Never to see my Smile again.
Hope is lost i know now i am an Outcast.
