    WHITE DOVE

I told her I loved her
I told her I need her
    But every night
I couldn't wait to leave her

    It wasn't her fault
    The blame was all mine
    She did nothing wrong
I did it all the time

    It's something within me
    A void in my heart
    I can't just be happy
    It's tearing me apart

    She wasn't the first
    To fall in love
    She won't be the last
    To seek help from above

    The women they come
    the women they go
    With each broken heart
    I hit a new low

I said all the right things
    I wanted to love
I never meant to hurt her
I only saught the white dove
    SKY

    This is beautiful.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
