    Poem Commentary

    I write purely for therapy. Usually I am a little dark, but for some reason today, I woke up happy. Maybe the poetry therapy is working. What do you think?

    Where did you come from?

     cuddled warm in my bed,
    pleasant dreams rush my head.
    dancing smiles, laughing hearts,
    gleaming eyes, thoughts with smarts.

    Where did you come from?
    Happiness.
    Should you be here?
    Did you bring bliss?

    Stay awhile,
    if you will.
    engulf yourself around
    me still.

    Where did you come from ?
    Happiness?
    Stay for the day,
    bring sunshine-ness.

    Its been awhile since I felt joy,
    depression holds me like its toy.
    I caught a glimpse of being free,
    I appreciate you helping me.

    Happiness, it all makes sense,
    you came through Harry and Gary,
     Brittany and Nick.

    Dear happiness,
    please stay with me.
    I will be good,
    I'll share you with everyone I see.

    Your openness and warmth come through well in this poem...Nice job!..Boy, when I wake up like that, I never question...just roll with it! lol! But, I guess if you had there would be no poem...ahhhh! I like your style!

    This poem was a gift to me from everyone trying to pull me out of depression quicksand. This poem is a Thank you to everyone trying to pull me out of depression quicksand.

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
