    When you think it's bad

    When you think it’s bad

You might think I am strange or maybe a little off
Who are you to compare, are you my boss?
The lines you here or speak when you are growing
Running loose and care free, you are the all knowing
As you gain in age you start to see from a different sight
The nights are short and the day has endless light
You lay awake wondering if this is all you are here for
When did you stop living and what does life have in store
The question we often ask ourselves and sometimes others
Are you were you want to be at the time you think
Or are you depressed thinking that your life really stinks
Well if you do these things and need some guidance
Rest your head says the voice out of the silence
We see the things in which you speak and obsess
Always be true to you and do your best
Giving your all does not always guarantee victory
Knowing you did should ease your misery
Not to try is to deny and to yourself you will lie
Leaving yourself lost and left by the wayside

Make your path as you feel to see fit
Commit to yourself and deal with it
Only you can control what may happen
Feeling too much pain, then start laughing
Tears of joy are stronger than sorrow
Turn your cheek there is a brighter tomorrow
For every rainy day there is a sun that shines
You want to go back in your mind push rewind
Just know that when you look at those days
Find a happy place so the pain will go away

On the flip of all your troubles that have come to be
Focus on the positive and know we all can see
Life is short and often unlucky which we all are aware
Hold your dearest close and cherish every moment together
Times will always get worse before they can get better
You need to look at what you need to do for you
Even if you do know that there are people who love you
Sometimes that love can’t reach inside the darkest places
The light is what helps you start to replace it
So step outside your shell and release a little tension
No one will fault you for what you mention
You may feel strange and possibly think your going crazy
Well look at the writer and you might be a maybe
Advice I have and a heart that gives more than it had
Getting it off your chest might help you see “It’s not that BAD”

i liked it, keep up the good work!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
