When I'm With You

When I'm With You

Another smile on your face is another night well spent
Another loving, longed embrace brings a longing for another.
To see you happy brings the world to a halt
To see you sad makes me tear myself apart
When you're angry, it's shown oh too well
So let me hold you close, my dear
And softly whisper in your ear
That all will be alright.
To take such simple little things
As insults, pain and violence
Just shove it all away
I'm here with you tonight, my love
And know that it's the truth
If I ever need something
I'll make sure you are first to know
Because you mean that much to me
I cannot let you go
So take these words
In years to come
Never forget the love I know
When I am always with you.
