Poem Commentary

This is another song for Jesus , been sang in churchs all over north as well. written by Ernestine J. Lee

What Ever It Is I'll Do

Sins how they muliply If one walks not with Our Lord
Trangressions seem to build up If we're not in His word
It's easy to believe on Jesus for condemned we shall not be
To walk within the light that shines, shines for you and me
I want to do His will today I want to be true
I know not what He wants of me what ever it is I'll do
Our trangressions are hid in Jesus If we believe His word
We have nothing ,unless given to us by our Lord
For the yolk He gives is easy It tells us in God's word
All we do is believe and trust upon our Lord
Jesus gives us mercy He took my sins from me
He made me new a new creature in Him, and then set me free
I want to do His will today I want to be true
I know not what He wants of me, What ever it is I'll do

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
