Poem Commentary

This is a song I wrote for the mpm. It been sang in many churches as well.

Lifes Hard Knocks

Lifes hard knocks don't seem so bad
Ater their gone and they,ve passed
But while they beat upon us,
They just seem to last, and last
So like it unto all we do
That leads to a tiring soul
While we labor about to no pervail
Till our bodies seem worn, and old
It's like the rains of a summer storm
That beats down, then soon is gone
Yet leaves no after math affect
To the ground it soon belongs
Yet good seeds fall among the thorns
Who's to say how they will grow
If we plant our seeds with hope, and love
Then Gods light will make them glow
We'll prosper to where we can
While we sweat to get ahead
Our prosperity is sure to come
Before we're gone , or dead
For good things come shinning through
After the hard knocks are gone
So bare hard knocks,
And stand life's blow's
Jesus triumph goes on, and on
Its like the rains of a summer storm
That beats hard, then soon is gone
It leaves no after math effect
To the ground it soon belongs

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
