    We Just Friends Though

    We Just Friends Though
    I’m involved and you’re confused
So we go hard ever night
Taking each others bodies into flight
    And yes yall
The sex be oh so tight
But we get up from that bed and part with the same old phrase
    “We just friends though”
You and me girl are more than just a cheap thrill
And for you girl I would probably kill
And just thought of my lips touching yours
Is enough change my day from bad to inviting
    But
    “We just friends though”
Girl you make me feel like Keith Sweat
    I just wanna go outside
    And sometimes
I want to slide into my Rome mode
    And say
    I belong to you
    But
    “We just friends though”
    So I ask
    Should I be involved
    Or
    You be confused
And I toiled with this is my mind
Like your supervisor counting your miscalculated leave-time
And I pray for a difference
    But the fact is
I’m probably going to stay involved
And you’re probably going to stay confused
    So maybe
    Just maybe
“We should just be friends though”

I like your poem. It speaks the truth about so many relationships. I need to check out your other poems.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
