Waiting

Waiting

Through the day I walk. Through the night I fly. In and out of the shadows, I wander being seen yet unseen. I am the shape you see out of the corner of your eye, the light that flickers in a candle lit room. I am your worst nightmare, your darkest desire you crave. My touch the coolness of my skin, your dreams cause your heart to long to skip a beat with just the thought of my kiss, the sting of my bite, wondering and wishing to know you sit and wait hoping with fearful lust the tonight shall be the night.
