    Tarnished Angel

She flew high in the sweet heavens of his arms. Captured in awe of his charms, her heart to earth free fell. Tears shed in her emotional hell. Collapsed upon the ground she now sings. Tarnished angel has lost her wings. Life, she had when she could fly. Her smile, limited only to the sky. He took her innocence among the breeze. Now she grovels down on her knees. Storms, carry her tortured song, of love, gone so wrong. Fragile echoes through the trees sing, Tarnished angel has lost her wings.

Beautiful....and very emotional...captavating something that could easly make a good book. Good work. short and bitter sweet but very good.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
