    Love Gone

Clouds swirl in his eyes spinning, hypnotizing my mind, casting a spell that overwhelms my every cell. His body dancing a motionless dance captivating my desire, melting what is left of my broken heart. I lift my arms extending my hands in hopes of him holding me. He smiles, his lips blowing a kiss and with a wink he is gone leaving just a fading laugh that echoes in my thoughts. To this day, so many years later, I sit here as a single tear slides down my cheek and sigh wondering why?

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
