    Waiting for the Sun

I go through my jumbled thoughts, one by one.
Sad, happy . glad and full of remorse,
sitting by my bleak dark window waiting for the sun,
wondering if by chance, I had just left one recourse.
I remember you, my little speck of sunshine and how you filled my soul with gladness.
I held you in my arms and thought of you as all mine.
I swing from gladness to madness watching the blinding snow.
Oh, if I could remember, if I could know what was said? What did I do? How can I ever make it up to you?
I wait by my window alone and stone cold.
I cannot remember how or why, I became so old..

I like this....nicely written. Does make me feel a bit melancholy!

    I like it alot!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
