    Voiceless Weeping

    Sometimes through the silence
    In the distant circle
    I can faintly hear
    A small cry.
    Slowly it grows
    In the night,
    In my head-
    Louder and louder
    Until I can not endure
    The painful scream any longer.

    If there was no life
    But one,
    I wonder who
    might hear the cry.
    And if there were
    None but one life,
    I wonder who
    might care
    When that life
    Falls asleep.

I'm interested in knowing what this is about, Lisa

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
